Electro Harmonix USA Big Muff Pi

Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi Distortion/Sustainer

The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi is the pedal that started it all. The Big Muff Pi is the distortion pedal countless musicians such as Hendrix and Santana relied on for its rich, creamy, violin-like sustain. A timeless piece, the electro-harmonix Big Muff Pi has been defining the sound of rock guitar for the past 30 years.

Like the legendary Big Muff Pi of the 70's, the Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi reissue has three controls that let the player dial in the finest harmonic distortion/sustain ever produced. The Big Muff Pi's Volume control adjusts the output level. The Sustain control optimizes the long sustain with just the right amount of harmonic distortion, and the Big Muff Pi's Tone control provides a range of sounds, from warm bass to crisp treble. From Pink Floyd to the Chemical Brothers to Korn, everyone wants a piece of the 'Pi!

Why buy Distortion/Sustainer Pedals?

Investing in distortion/sustainer pedals is a game-changer for guitarists looking to add depth, power, and sustain to their sound. These pedals are essential tools for creating the rich, overdriven tones that define rock, metal, blues, and many other genres. Distortion pedals transform clean signals into gritty, textured sounds, offering everything from subtle warmth to aggressive, high-gain crunch.

Sustainer pedals extend the life of your notes, allowing for soaring solos and expansive soundscapes that captivate audiences. Together, they provide unparalleled control over your tone, enabling expressive playing and dynamic performances. Whether you're aiming to replicate the iconic sounds of your favorite guitar heroes or carve out your own unique sonic identity, distortion/sustainer pedals are indispensable for any serious guitarist's pedalboard.
