Elixir Strings deliver the presence, punch, and detail of traditional electric guitar strings. But when it comes to tone life, there is no comparison. Players report with Elixir Strings their tone lasts longer than any other string, uncoated or coated.
Elixir Strings are covered with an ultra-thin, polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. In addition to an ultrathin grunge-resistant tubular coating on the wound strings, Nanoweb coated strings now have a revolutionary Anti-Rust plating on the plain strings to extend their life too.
Elixir Strings keep their lively tone three to five times longer than ordinary strings.
