After more than a year of research and working with more than a 1000 bassists to understand the essence of tone and feel, Elixir Strings is introducing a bass string experience including Nickel Plated Steel Strings and Stainless Steel Strings.
Ultra-thin NANOWEB Coating gives you a bright, lively tone with the feel of traditional non-coated strings. This coating doesn't just coat the wire, but coats the entire string preventing corrosion and contamination from accumulating on the surface and in the space between the windings. Most players agree that Elixir Strings continue to sound great 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary strings.
