The Winterleaf TW7 electro-acoustic guitar is a great example of Tanglewood’s commitment to quality guitar building.

Rosewood back and sides and a spruce soundboard have been selected for the TW7’s top due to the broad dynamic range and powerful projection this combination of wood offers.

The “Super Folk Cutaway” design of the TW7 makes it a comfortably sized electro-acoustic guitar. The cutaway design of the body allows for easier reach of the higher frets; perfect if for performing adventurous melodies or solos.

The neck is Mahogany and features a Rosewood fingerboard. The Nut is ABS Ivory at a 43mm width, the saddle is also ABS Ivory and is compensated to ensure accurate intonation.

ABS Ivory has also been used for the TW7’s binding to ensure a secure guitar while the contrast of the binding against the Tobacco Burst finish adds an extra layer to the aesthetic appeal of this fantastic electro-acoustic guitar.

Quality Electronics

The TW7 has been fitted with a Tanglewood TW-EX4 EQ and preamp system so you can plug in and play loud in a gig situation. The TW-EX4 has a 4-band EQ with easy-to-use slider controls so you can tailor your sound to your exact liking.

A chromatic tuner has also been integrated with the electronics so that you can tune up quickly and easily without the need for taking along a separate external tuner.

A low battery indicator ensures that you’ll never be caught out without power allowing you to know at a glance when it’s getting time to replace the battery.

Great Features

At the headstock you’ll find the classic Tanglewood logo between six Chrome Grover machine heads. Grover machineheads have been selected for their extremely precise and stable tuning.

The Tanglewood TW7 comes fitted with D’Addario Phosphor Bronze Light strings for a rich and resonant tone that compliments the TW7’s characteristics perfectly.
