The Wharfedale Pro Typhon AXF12 is a professional 12-inch active loudspeaker engineered for portable PA systems, live performance, DJs, venues, houses of worship, and fixed installations. As part of the latest Typhon AXF Series, it features upgraded FIR DSP processing and refined crossover design, delivering improved phase response, smoother frequency balance, and enhanced bass performance while maintaining the rugged reliability of the original Typhon series.

Powered by an efficient Class D bi-amplified system, the Typhon AXF12 delivers 720 watts of continuous power and 1440 watts peak, producing up to 129dB maximum SPL. A custom Wharfedale Pro 12-inch low-frequency driver and 1.75-inch titanium compression driver provide powerful low-end, articulate midrange, and detailed high frequencies for demanding professional applications.

Housed in a durable IP54-rated polypropylene enclosure, the AXF12 offers multiple deployment options including pole mounting, floor monitoring, wall mounting, and flown installations. Four onboard DSP presets optimise performance for different applications, making it equally suited to front-of-house, stage monitoring, and full-range playback.
